Mould kits

The kit is how we get the shape of your teeth. A grill order includes the kit for the teeth you chose. You can also order a kit on its own, for the top teeth, the bottom teeth, or both.
What you receive
- One tray for one jaw, or two trays when the kit is for both
- Two bases and two catalysts for one jaw. Four bases and four catalysts when the kit is for both. Each pair is one attempt
- A sheet printed with the upper teeth and the lower teeth, where you mark the finish
- Your kit number, on the box and on the sheet
- Packaging to post the mould back in
A mould is a soft copy of the teeth. The material sets around them and keeps their shape, and the grill is built on that. The number on the box matches the number on the sheet.

How to take a mould
The kit includes written instructions, and those tell you how long to hold the tray. Press it over the teeth the kit is for, hold still while the material sets, then lift it off. The mould should show each tooth the grill will cover, up to the gumline, with no torn edge and no bubble.
The finish is marked on the sheet in the same kit. What plain caps, a bar and a cutout look like is described with the grillz.
If an attempt fails
A kit for one jaw has two bases and two catalysts. A kit for both jaws has four of each, two attempts for each jaw. Use the next pair if the first tears, stops short of the gumline, or has a bubble where the metal needs to sit. If the attempts in the kit fail, order another kit.
Returning the kit
Keep the sheet with the box. The number on both is how we match the kit to your order.
If you would like us to look at the mould before you post it, send a photo. Then put the mould and the sheet in the packaging from the kit and post it back.
